Lisa Wappler, RN, BSN, CHPN

Lisa began her nursing career in 2001 after earning her ADN from Palomar College. She went on to practice community health nursing, emergency nursing and radiation oncology before earning her BSN from Grand Canyon University. Lisa joined Silverado Hospice in 2020 as a Patient Care Manager and later advanced to Director of Patient Care Services, bringing with her more than 10 years of nursing leadership experience.

Lisa’s passion for hospice care stems from her early love of community health and her dedication to supporting individuals and families with compassion and dignity. She is committed to raising awareness about the benefits of hospice and bringing comfort and joy to those she serves every day.

A San Diego native, Lisa enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and two rescue dogs. She loves hiking, camping, and gardening, finding peace and balance in nature.
