Thank you, Volunteers!
April 21, 2021
In honor of National Volunteer Week, which is recognized April 18 through 24, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to our very special volunteers at Silverado Hospice.
Last year was a challenging year for many of us. We would like to praise each one of our volunteers who stepped up significantly during the pandemic. Many of our volunteers helped our families and team in response to the 2020 pandemic and assured safety and wellness. Volunteers donated their time to prepare supplies, food, and their heart to ensure Silverado’s mission throughout the year. Volunteers donated hand sewn facemasks to our nurses to keep them safe on the frontline. Many of our volunteers also contributed resources to our homeless families, such as clothing, food, gift cards, and other essential supplies. Volunteers are truly the heart of hospice! To the outstanding and remarkable people who have chosen to dedicate their energies to supporting our Hospice patients and families, we salute our amazing volunteers and cannot thank them enough for their generosity. What they do is amazing and a true calling! All of our volunteers are an essential part of our care.
