Special Memorial Service

February 21, 2014

Silverado Hospice Los Angeles and Silverado Sierra Vista came together for a Memorial Service on February 19th in remembrance of the residents that had passed away over the past year.  Caroline Martin, the Hospice Bereavement Coordinator, set a beautiful tone by displaying pictures of the residents. As Hospice and Sierra Vista associates entered the room, they viewed displayed photos and reminisced about their residents. Jesus Parcasio, Hospice Spiritual Counselor, shared a moving reflection on the love and care that is shown by all associates at Sierra Vista. The names of each resident that had passed away were read while those in attendance lit candles in remembrance. After the lighting of the candles, everyone was asked to share memories and poignant stories. The atmosphere was one of unconditional love.
