Silverado Hospice North Houston recognizes the important work our Spiritual Care Counselors do for our patients and families every day. Holidays, the middle of the night or whenever they are called to serve, they answer that call with joy, knowing the difference they make in the lives of our families.

For some, religion is an integral part of their lives, for other it may not be. Still others may consider themselves atheist or agnostic. Through their counsel, music and readings, our Spiritual Care Counselors meet all patients and families where they are, with no judgment or agenda.

Our Hospice Spiritual Care Counselors can help patients reflect upon their beliefs, express their spirituality, or just be a presence to create the safe space where the patient and family are able to be open to spirituality, creativity, and reflection as they prepare to let go of the lives they have known and loved.

We recognize the work of our wonderful Spiritual Care Counselors, Gary Bryant, Roy Wright, and John Connor, who carry out their mission for our patients every day 24/7, with dedication and love for their role in easing the journey for our patients and families.
