Silverado Hospice Dallas–Fort Worth Achieves Deficiency-Free Joint Commission Survey
March 27, 2026
At Silverado, our commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to share that Silverado Hospice Dallas and Fort Worth has achieved a deficiency-free survey from The Joint Commission, one of the most respected healthcare accrediting bodies in the nation.
This outstanding result follows an unannounced full resurvey conducted March 10–13, 2026, evaluating compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation for hospice agencies. The survey concluded with Silverado Hospice being found in full compliance, with no deficiencies cited—an achievement that reflects the highest standard of quality and accountability in hospice care.
What This Means for Our Patients and Families
A deficiency-free survey is more than a regulatory milestone—it is a meaningful validation of the care our teams provide every day. It affirms that families who trust Silverado Hospice can expect:
- Exceptional clinical care aligned with the highest national standards
- Compassionate, patient-centered support tailored to each individual’s needs
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
- Consistent adherence to best practices in hospice and palliative care
Recognizing Our Team
This accomplishment would not be possible without the dedication, expertise, and heart of our Dallas–Fort Worth team. From nurses and physicians to social workers, aides, and support staff, every team member plays a vital role in delivering the Silverado difference.
Their unwavering focus on both clinical excellence and meaningful human connection is what sets Silverado apart—and what continues to elevate the hospice experience for those we serve.
A Continued Commitment to Excellence
The Joint Commission has granted accreditation effective March 14, 2026, and recommended continued Medicare certification. While this recognition is something we celebrate, it also reinforces our ongoing responsibility to innovate, improve, and lead in hospice care.
At Silverado, we don’t just meet standards—we strive to raise them.
We are honored to serve the Dallas and Fort Worth communities and remain deeply committed to providing care that brings comfort, dignity, and peace to patients and their families during life’s most important moments.
