Cristina Berlanga

Regional Volunteer Manager Back to Leadership

Cristina joined the Silverado family in 2021 bringing 19 years of recruitment experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies with concentrations in business and sociology.

Cristina’s dedication to hospice care is deeply personal, shaped by her own experiences with the compassionate support provided to her loved ones. After losing her father to cancer in 2020, she sought a place where she could use her skills and compassion to help others and found that purpose at Silverado Hospice. Working alongside devoted volunteers, Cristina plays a vital role in recruitment, ensuring others have the opportunity to offer comfort and companionship. In 2024, when her mother was diagnosed with cancer and placed under Silverado’s care, she witnessed firsthand the team’s compassion and dedication, reinforcing her commitment to supporting patients and those who dedicate their free time to hospice care. “As part of the team, you understand what Silverado does for families, but experiencing it as a family member allows you to truly feel the love and dedication each team member brings,” shares Cristina.

In her free time, Cristina enjoys arts and crafts, music, volunteering, learning new things and spending time with her loved ones.
